MoA Signing Ceremony- Collaboration between School of Fashion, Wuhan Textile University and Department of Textile Engineering, Daffodil International University, Bangladesh

On July 4, 2022, a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) signing ceremony was held in the conference room on the third floor of the School of Fashion. The meeting was conducted by online video conference. Prof. Tao Hui, Dean of the School of Fashion, also the relevant faculty members of the School of Fashion and School of International Education, as well as the delegates from Daffodil International University were participated. The both sides conducted preliminary communication on curriculum development, student exchange, dual university program, faculty exchange, cross-cultural research project and the development of sustainable education systems among One Belt One Road countries.

Prof. Tao Hui expressed her gratitude to Daffodil International University and appreciated the collaboration and hoped that this cooperation will establish a bridge for sustainable fashion education system among the One Belt One Road countries. She discussed about the student’s scholarship opportunities, dual university program, collaborative research project and conference among the universities of European and Asian countries. She also focused to establish a sustainable fashion education center in Daffodil International University for cross-cultural research development and innovative aptitudes.

At the end of the meeting the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed by Prof. Tao Hui and Prof. M. Shamsul Alam for a successful the collaborative interest. After that with the detailed discussion about curriculum development for Fashion Design program, student exchange, dual university program, faculty exchange, center for sustainable fashion both leaders were signed a collaborative agenda (Phase-1).

 

Daffodil International University is located in the capital city of Bangladesh is a prominent private university. As one of the top universities in Bangladesh, the university has five colleges, including Science and Information Technology, Business and Entrepreneurship, Humanities and Social Science, Engineering, Allied Health Science, with 36 undergraduate and graduate programs under 25 departments. The university have 150 Acre campus with more than 20000 students.
